Esta serie profundiza en las raíces psicológicas y sociopolíticas de las ideologías extremistas, particularmente en los períodos previos a los regímenes totalitarios. Examina la compleja interacción entre sexualidad, poder y política, desvelando cómo se moldearon las tendencias violentas y las construcciones ideológicas. El enfoque se centra en el análisis de fenómenos históricos que siguen resonando en la actualidad, ofreciendo así una perspectiva atemporal sobre la naturaleza del extremismo y su impacto social.

Klaus Theweleit, 1942 in Ostpreußen geboren, studierte Germanistik und Anglistik in Kiel und Freiburg. Von 1969-1972 war er als freier Mitarbeiter des Südwestfunks tätig, 1977 promovierte er über „Freikorpsliteratur und den Körper des soldatischen Mannes“. Heute lebt er als freier Schriftsteller mit Lehraufträgen in Deutschland, den USA, der Schweiz und Österreich. Seit 1998 ist Theweleit Professor für Kunst und Theorie an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe.

This is the second volume of Theweleita s extraordinary study of the fantasies of some of the men centrally involved in the rise of Nazism.
